Bear in a Box - Knitting Kit

Please Note: This listing is for a kit to make the bear and bedding, not for the finished item itself. 

Everyone needs a favourite bear. One that will be hugged at bedtime, cried into on bad days, have secrets whispered into woollen ears, taken on outings and, eventually, worn threadbare with love and attention. This bear is just the thing. With jointed limbs that can move, Bear is able to take part in tea parties or picnics, sitting nicely at the table or blanket. Bear can be tucked up into its own cosy bed or made comfortable in yours. Wherever you go, Bear will gladly go too. 

Each kit is put together by me using what is available locally, fabrics will be slightly different from kit to kit but will all be good quality cotton. Wherever possible I try to include some fabric from the beautiful Liberty of London ranges. If you have a particular colour in mind for your kit please send me a message and I will do my best to accommodate. 

The kit includes: 
Paper pattern
set of five 3.25mm / US 3 double pointed needles 
2 balls of NZ made DK Weight yarn 
embroidery thread
stuffing 
tapestry and sewing needle
stitch marker 
fabric for pillow and quilt
60 inches bias binding
wadding for quilt

This kit and pattern is designed for knitters with Intermediate skills. These kits encourage people to try out a small amount of another craft alongside knitting. In this kit, you will learn how to make a whole cloth quilt with binding and a simple puffed pillow.
